'Gruffalo' Wins the Children's Spoken Word Award
 

The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler has won the Children's Audio of the Year prize at the 2002 Spoken Word Award announced yesterday at a cereomony at the Dorchester Hotel in London. Other winners at the event included The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett and The Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket.
