The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson and
Axel Scheffler has won the Children's Audio of the Year
prize at the 2002 Spoken Word Award announced yesterday
at a cereomony at the Dorchester Hotel in London. Other
winners at the event included The Secret Garden by
Frances Hodgson Burnett and The Bad Beginning by
Lemony Snicket.
