Bloomsbury Publishing has unveiled the cover designs for 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' by JK Rowling, to be published on 21st June 2003.

There are different cover designs for the children's and the adult versions of the book. The cover illustration for the children’s edition [right] is by Jason Cockcroft and the cover design for the adult edition (published simultaneously in hardback for the first time) is from a photograph by Michael Wildsmith, and is designed by William Webb (Design Director of Bloomsbury). This is the first time the cover has not included an image of Harry Potter himself.

These covers will be used throughout the English speaking world excluding the USA. Scholastic, who publish the Harry Potter books in America, have also released their cover for the American edition of 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' by the noted children's illustrator Mary GrandPre.
