Rosoff has won the 2004 Guardian Children's Fiction Prize
Shortlist for her book 'How I Live Now'.
Rosoff beat three other shortlisted titles to claim the
prize which was announced earlier today.
This year's
judges were: Mark Haddon, who won the award last year
with The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time,
Adèle Geras, whose latest novel for young adults
is Other Echoes, and Marcus Sedgwick, whose most recent
novel is The Book of Dead Days. The panel was chaired
by Julia Eccleshare.
