 The
long awaited 'knobby book for boys' from Melvin Burgess
is set for a May release in hardback by Anderson Press.
The book, entitled 'Doing It', will feature a cover with
the title of the book emblazoned across a condom. It is
sure to cause controversy and will no doubt be a huge success
with its target audience.
Burgess himself says of the book "Finally it's finished
- the knobby book for boys. It's called 'Doing It' and it's
due out with Andersen Press next April/May. It's been about
the hardest thing I've done - no pun intended - but I finally
feel confident enough of it to put it out there... It is of
course very filthy... Should be good ..."

Puffin, who recently signed a deal
with Burgess to continue publishing his paperback titles
and back catalogue, have redesigned the covers for a number
of his paperbacks including the newly released Lady as well
as an audio version of the same book.
