Book summary in three sentences:

The Story is about a boy called Tony his parents are very poor and when they find out that Tony's sister in law is pregnant they dont know what they are going to do. His father then invents some electric cartridges and they become rich. Their house is massive and Tony's mother thinks that the kids next door are perfect but Tony knows their secret and they are not as perfect as they look.


Book's strengths:
Which characters did you especially like and why?

I liked Tony because at the beginning you think hes the normal 13 year old but he turns out alot more interesting than he seems. I also like Joel because he brings the story to life.


Which parts of the storyline really worked well and why?:

I think that the story line all worked well but the best was when Joel started to steal as he seems like a posh person as all his family is.


What did you enjoy about the writers style?:

I enjoyed the writers style because when it starts to get less interesting she livens it back up again.


Book weakness:
Which characters in the book were less believable or interesting?

I don't think any of the charecters in the story were less believable or less interesting..


Which parts of the book were difficult to follow or not believable?:

There were not any.


When did the writer's style not work as well?:

The writers style did not work as well when Tony got drunk because he didnt semm the type.


Summary of the book, overall opinion of the book:

I thought the book was excellent and the story line worked well all the way through.
