Meteorite Spoon - Philip Ridley

Filly and Fergal have the most argumentative parents in the world. They always break things and, because they are poor, have to glue everything back together, until one day they have the biggest argument of all parents arguments bringing the house down to rubble. Filly and Fergal are trapped in the rubble but when they get the 'meteorite spoon' they are freed and end up on a tropical island where they meet Mr. and Mrs. Love, the young version of their parents when they didn't argue.

When they are on the island Filly and Fergal have an argument themselves so they storm off from each other and when Filly is in a tree she see's a volcano erupt and all of a suden she can see Fergal crying "ninny" so they end up in their beds. Over all I give this book 9 out of 10.
