Vinegar Street by Philip Ridley

This book is about a girl called poppy picklesticks who is happy in her little street in the middle of nowhere until one day Mandy Nylon enters the street and turns everybody against poor Poppy. But little does everybody know that mad Mandy has a secret hidden away. Poppy is determined to get to the bottom of it. To enjoy this book you've got to like surprises because behind every page is a new twist. I think this book is a ten out of ten five star read, one of my favourites.
