Reviewed by Jack Hibberd

Book author:
Susan Gates

Book title:
Danny's Secret Fox

Book summary in three sentences:

The characters are Hermione, Harry, Ron, Professor Dumbledore and many more. The story is about a boy called Harry Potter and how he saves a man. It is also about how he finds out his dad was an animagus.

Book's strengths:
Which characters did you especially like and why?

I especially like Danny because he always feeds the fox.

Which parts of the storyline really worked well and why?:

I liked the storyline best when it said the secret fox slid away into the grey evening light, because there are a lot of good words.

What did you enjoy about the writers style?:

I thought it was very exciting and it was interesting because it was funny.

Book weakness:
Which characters in the book were less believable or interesting?

I thought all the characters were believable.

Which parts of the book were difficult to follow or not believable?:

I think a boy feeding a fox by hand is less believable because it hasn't been known for a fox to come that close to a human.

When did the writer's style not work as well?:

I thought the writers style worked well through out the book.

Summary of the book, overall opinion of the book:

I think it was very exciting and funny%2C but a little unbelievable. It was good though.
