Harry Potter and The Chamber Of Secrets by J.K. Rowling

I bought this adventure for my boy of thirteen to encourage his reading - he wasn't too keen
Prefering the challenge of gameboy instead, so I took Harry Potter and tea up to bed.
Plunging headLong into intreague and magic rooting for Harry (Whose upbringing was tragic)
With murder and mayham right there in my face we hurtled along at incredible pace.
With ghosties and goblins and bumps in the night and wizardly workings that wouldn't work right
And Harry, our hero and clever young friend ensuring the narratives thumping good end
The hours had passed in what seemed like a minute
The book so engrossing I thought I was in it
So move over Binchy and Jackie and Joan
I've made J.K. Rowling and Harry my own
