with Lyra's daemon Pantalaimion, are on a mission which takes
them to many weird and wonderful, and sometimes terrifying,
worlds!

|

Book's strengths:

I like
Lyra because of her courage and strong will. She goes through
a painfull and heart wrenching ordeal just to say sorry to
and old friend because it's the right thing to do.
|
|

Which parts of the storyline really worked well and why?:
|
The world
in which the mulefa lived worked well. Although the world
is totally different to our own it is described so well that
we can imagine every detail! The twists in the storyline worked
well as well because they were totally unexpected! The whole
book is unpredictable.

What did you enjoy about the writers style?:
|
I loved
the strong way in which he described the worlds. They were
so detailed that you could believe that they actually existed!

interesting?
|
Lord
Asriels change in nature sometimes seemed strange but the
characters are otherwise totally believable.
|
|

Which parts of the book were difficult to follow or not
believable?:
|
I dont
think there were any really. Anything that happened had a
reason.
|
|

When did the writer's style not work as well?:
|
Some
of the difficult words made it hard to follow in places but
you could soon work out what they meant.
