Born
in Cardiff in 1947, he uses the pen name Inigo Jones in
memory of his father who died when the author was a young
lad. As a rookie policeman, the Aberfan disaster left him
with an indelible imprint of lost precious young lives.
Deciding
to use his musical and creative gifts he moved to London
to study drama whilst supporting himself as a session musician.
As a result of writing 'jingles' he was drawn into a career
with one of the top international advertising agencies.
He studied and was later head-hunted to a senior position
at Beecham International with whom he travelled worldwide
marketing major brands. He has won the marketing Grand Prix
Award and Gold Award for his creativity and innovation.
Now
a full time author/writer he is known for his infectious
sense of humour. He lives in Surrey 'chuckle factory', with
his wife, two children, six lovebirds (at the last count),
and a welsh Border Collie called Pippi.
Apart
from writing music, the theatre and writing, Inigo Jones
is as ex-rugby player and an avid Welsh rugby fan.
