Both Brian's parents are Irish and some of his novels, notably Don't Hang About, explore the Irish/British experience. Brian spent a number of years as a teacher before becoming a writer in schools.

He can do workshops to large groups of children, as many as 75-100 children per session, he only requires a flip chart when working.

Saviour does two types of author visits to school. During book weeks, he reads from his own books and answers questions about writing. He also holds writing workshops, where he shows children how to plan their own stories or non-fiction books.

Genres: Stewart usually bases his school visits on his historical or non-fiction books.

Lee Weatherly

Lee is the American born author of 'Child X'. Her visits include talking about the writing process and writing workshops.

Other authors available, depending on availability, include; Grace Nichols, Bernard Ashley, James Berry, Tony Bradman, Errol Lloyd, Michael Forman, James Riordan, Verna Wilkins, Kate Elizabeth Ernest and John Foster.
