 I'm
passionate about working with words and pictures to create
stories. I've written and illustrated four childrens books:
Reds Great Chase, Billy Beans Dream, Follow The Line and
Little Giant. My love of working with words and pictures
also lends itself to comics, I have discovered that readers
of all ages are enjoying my stories. I have written, illustrated
and co-published four comic books, two of these will be
published by Bloomsbury in the Autumn.
I love people, of all ages and in my work
I like to make a connection with the reader with humour.
In my school visits I use a slide projector to show my work,
the slide show itself is a way to create a story with words
and pictures.
I have experience of working with
adults and children of all ages and can offer practical
and fun workshops for budding story tellers. The workshops
would include book-making for children/parents and for them
to work with their own words and pictures to tell their
own story.
