Overview

In the Iron Age over 3,000 forts were built on top of hills. Find out how hill forts were constructed, what they were used for, and what they tells us about the people who lived over 2,000 years ago. A fascinating look into a past world by Juliet Kerrigan.* Copper/Band 12 books provide more complex plots and longer chapters that develop reading stamina.

Author

Juliet Kerrigan is a former history teacher. She has worked on a number of archaeological sites, and always hopes to find treasure! Juliet has travelled from caves in Spain to temples in the Lebanon in pursuit of her archaeological interests. She now lives in Sussex and has nine grandsons.
